The Guy Ourisson Prize of the Gutenberg Circle is awarded each year to a researcher, aged forty years or less on January 1st of the year of award, conducting particularly promising research in Alsace. The Gutenberg Circle was created by Professor Guy Ourisson to strengthen the links between the Alsatian members of the Institut de France, the Collège de France, the great French and foreign academies and the Institut Universitaire de France and to stimulate scientific research in Alsace.
